Suspension Swift Spec-R
Swift Spec-R
I just had my Springs put on last night and took it for a little ride feels great! I want to give a special thanks to Sean at TrackWorx for all there help! they have excellent customer service and have been extremely helpful in my decision to find springs for the car. We end over many different options and we decided on the Swift Spec-R. This is how it should feel when you get in a Mini!
Even with just slight drop it is noticeably lover just from the first sit behind the wheel. The ride is stiffer but still good for the street. I did not want to drive it too much right now without doing an alignment but the car is at the dealership now and I will be taking it from Chicago to Wisconsin today after work and will be out on the track this weekend so I will let everyone know how they handle! I have a few pix of the car from this morning sorry the car is really dirty but it should get washed after the service (then covered in bugs in Wisconsin lol)
that was my plan. I have sport suspension now (which is lower than standard S suspension so swift springs might will either keep the same height im at now and might even pick me up a bit. so my OEM struts shouldn't be a problem, but i still want to get some Koni yellows once i can afford it.
Looks good! I'm picking my JCW coupe up this afternoon from getting NM springs and H Sport Competition sway bar installed.
What wheels are those and who is at Road America this weekend?

So after the track day on Saturday I am very happy with the springs, Just adding the springs and putting my summer tires on the car I shaved just over 4 seconds off my lap times. It was only my second time ever on this track and I ran a 1:35.4 in the school on 04/21 and I ran a 1:31.1 as my best time on 05/05! I'm sure the tires helped some but I know a lot of it had to do with the springs and more laps around the track. I can't wait to get some more time in, I have a pick that was taken of me going around a turn and the car barley rolls at all. I love them now I'm itching to get more stuff to do on my car to get around the track fasted the guy that I'm competing against is an instructor in a '95 impala and he runs a 1:26.1 so I got my work cut out for me but I will catch him this year!
