Suspension Rear Swaybar!!!
Rear Swaybar!!!
I just found out that I am right down the road from DDMWorks! I gave them a call about fabricating a rear sway bar for the MINI Countryman S ALL4. DDMWorks is going to use my car to fabricate this part for us and hopefully soon there will be a solution for the many people looking for a rear sway bar. I will keep everyone posted on the progress of the fabrication project. Hopefully they will be able to get the car in the shop soon. Mini On The Dragon is coming up next weekend so there may be a few weeks lag time. Keep your fingers crossed that this works out!
The best thing I've heard all week(it is Monday though). Keep me informed. I've also heard the same from nm, about a june release, when I ordered the springs for the car. Does anyone know if a custom option is available through a race suspension company? The blade option I have seen seems to be a cool idea with infinite adjustability.
Hey guys,
Anyone heard of this option? Will it make any difference?

NM told me to call them back in Mid October. I haven't called them yet, but it might be time to check in. Last time I talked to VIP they were having manufacturing issues with the outsourced manufacturer of their bars, so who knows there. I recommend giving these companies calls to show interest in the part.
Just got an e-mail from NM Engineering introducing the RSB!

Hey Way, could you give us a brief comparison between your sway bar and NM's? Strengths and weaknesses of each one to help us all make a more educated buying decision. You definitely have a more appealing price, but did you have to cut corners in quality in order to achieve that?
Thanks!

Thanks!

I would be excellent is someone (I'm looking at you Way and/or NM) would post some installation instructions. I am about to install springs on my Countryman and I am wondering if I should wait and do this all at one time.
This is Part 1 and 2 of how to install a sway bar on a R56 - It is relatively the same on the Countryman... I just installed springs a few months back and yes you should do it all at once... Otherwise you'll have to take the rear spings off again which is a pain.
