HEy i wanted to know what kind of suspension mods can be done to give my mini Rally car like suspension. I want her to be able to eat potholes for breakfast and railroad tracks for dinner...

 

Coilovers with longer shock bodies and taller springs (that doesn't necessarily mean the car will ride higher). The stock mini has pretty dismal suspension travel and to ride smoothly over bumps the key is travel.

There are however no off the shelf items for a "Rally" suspension setup. BC Racing offers coilovers for the Mini and I believe you can custom order them with a range of different shock bodies. Then you could get properly long springs from a company like swift.

 

Anyone source longer travel shocks and springs?

 

Maybe trader her in on a countryman? That countryman WRC Mini looks awesome.

 

How do you feel about sending your shocks out for a rebuild every week?
