Ordered control arm bushings

So i ordered Powerflex CABs for the front as a kit prepressed into brackets.. Any pointers or hints i should know about?

PS.. Also noticed the brake fluid was brown, as in slightly used motor oil, is it supposed to be this way?

I'd like to hear your impressions of the Powerflex when you get them in.

The brake fluid (assuming stock fluid) should be clear-ish. Over time it will get brown, but it should be changed semi-regularly like every 3 years unless you've boiled it or something (or do track days).

Just checking if you've installed them yet.

Yes, soy sauce is usually time to change.

The bushings do help a lot.

BUT, when you get the pre-pressed bushings you must lower the subframe to get the old brackets out and new ones in.

I ended up just bring the car to my mechanic to do it and it took him a bit to get them in since the bolts are a ***** to get off.

I finally got them installed, and man its a night and day difference! The wheels dont spin wildly under full throttle, the shifter and clutch are a LOT smoother and since i also replaced my rack, it drives in a straight line now (mine was bad) Now for that alignment.....
