Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the combined setup of M7 coilovers, 17x7.5 wheels with +45 offset, and 215/45/17 tires. I am curious if anyone knows if spacers will be needed. From my searching, it looks like maybe a 5mm may be needed to avoid rubbing the coilovers, and if so, will that increase the likelihood of rubbing the wheel well?

I am trying to have all potential parts (spacers) before I do a weekend install of everything so I don't run into rubbing issues or any other fitment problems!

I have a set of 17x7.5 +40s, and even those seem too close to the factory struts with the 205/40s the previous owner put on them. I think an offset of +30 or +35 would be ideal for our cars if you were going with a 7.5" wide wheel and a 225 width tire.
