So anyone else have this happen?

So this sucks, came out to my car this morning and did a double take as the camber looked way out of wack.....ugh I have a 2002 S was wondering what would be the best replacement? thoughts, tips, suggestions?
I was looking at the Alta control arms http://www.altaperformance.com/produ...trol-Arms-Rear Any other mods I should consider while its up on the lift?

Thanks for any help

Altas are known for making noise. There are a few other options, I'd suggest something without a solid bearing if it's just a street car. H-sport is popular, but I do not have experience with them.

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with the TSW's from Way's http://www.waymotorworks.com/tsw-rear-control-arms.html

What the heck..... How the heck did this happen? Surely you didn't just come out one morning and noticed that your arm was snapped because your camber was off??

We've only seen this happen about 3 times, it's very odd, but most of the time people hit something in the road to break them. Replace em with some Hsport Camber links and you won't have to worry anymore.

Wow, no noticeable impact in the picture...just looks like a clean snap. I bought the H-Sport arms recently and they appear to be very well made. They seem to be the single most popular rear camber arm for NAM members.

You dont have to hit the arm to break it. A sufficiently strong impact on the tire could do it, especially if it were say sliding into something. The hole is a HUGE stress raiser, it will almost always break there and in that fashion.

I don't remember hitting anything lately and certainly haven't slid into anything. My only guess is that maybe it was a result from a big pot hole and then just continued fatigue on it, that or I could blame my wife I felt a little "slip" about 400 yards from my house the night before when I parked. Fortunately I don't think I drove very far like that.

I am amazed how flimsy the stamped OEM arm was, it just looks and feels weak and cheap. BTW, have some beefier ones on order from you Mr Way
