yep, they are 17x8s and I am also running 205/45-17s with no problems... no real rubbing... only when I'm hard in the twisties ... but I'm lowered

I love the team dynamics! I actually I had them off for a few months... with a snow set up on.

Put the TDs back on last week, and they just make the car feel so much more planted... not sure if its the extra inch in width or that offset just pushes them that much further to the corners... but its a noticable difference in my opinion

dez - I'm surprised that the 205s on 8 inch rims don't look more stretched... Any reason you didn't go with a wider tire? Just trying to figure out the best size...

 

Those are just the tires I had and everything I read said they would work. Actually looks pretty good and they don't look stretched much at all.

 

Sorry to bring this back up again. But I have a question for Alwyn and dez. Can you guys confirm which black you got? I think dez has the gloss black, but I am not so sure what Alwyn has. Please confirm. Thanks!

 

Yep, mine are gloss black. Although they are slightly less glossy then the stock R112 JCW challenge rims I have.
