Replacing front sway bar bushings???

Is there any tricks out there to replacing the front sway bar bushings or does the sub frame need to come down??? And if I do need to lower the sub frame is there any thing else I should do why its down???

You don't actually have to lower the subframe out of the car. If you just lower the back of it 6 inches or so you'll be able to get a wrench on the 2 bolts on each side holding the sway bushings/Lower control arm bushings down. Since the bolts will be out you might as well replace the lower control arm bushings if you haven't already.
