Double-Adjustable Shocks For Sale
Just thought I'd drum up some possible interest in some shocks I have for sale. They were used on our 2006 Mini Cooper S that we've recently sold. They are Leda brand shocks that were custom made to be a direct replacement for the stock shocks. They were amazing shocks. Combined with a smaller front sway bar, the car was very balanced with virtually no wheel spin exiting corners.

Mitch,
You still AutoX? I would be interested in these if they were coilovers....I am in need of more Camber in the front(springs are hitting the unibody) and my tire temps show the outsides are doing more work. Did you change class? Go with other struts/coilovers. Looking for opinions from fellow Autocrosser/racers, etc...
Thanks, Chad

Yes, I still autocross. I just switched back to RWD (Miata). I miss the power of the Mini though.
You could easily use these as coilovers. You'd just have to buy the standard threaded coilover sleeves (very cheap) that slide over the shock body, springs, and camber plates. The dimensions of these shocks are the exact same as the stock shocks (or a set of Koni Sports for example). So all the same hardware that can be used with those shocks can be used with these. Of course these shocks as WAY better than Koni sports.....just say'n.
Honestly, you could argue that using the coilover sleeves is a better way to go if you drive the car in snow, ice, mud, etc... When the threads get gummed up over time, you can just buy new coilover sleeves (cheap!). But if you went with high dollar coilover shocks (Ohilins, AST, etc...) when/if the threads get damaged you can't replace them without replacing the entire shock body.
Does that make sense?
