Too Low?

I just installed in tein coilovers in my r53 a month ago and last week I took my car to my mechanic to get service done. While the install was good, he suggested that I may have it too low causing the axles to be flexed and not straight. This sometimes causes vibration during the acceleration. Does anyone know if this could cause permanent damage to my car if I do not rectify it or have had similar experiences?

You need to raise the ride height a little bit to straighten out the axles.
Usually 5-10mm will do it.
If not corrected, you could break a driveshaft.

Oh yeah too low can wear out axles faster. And if you buy those crappy $100 axles you WILL break them.

Not trying to be "that guy" but if you want that mad "Moar Low" stance, be prepared to pay for it. My old car was lowered on fully adjustable coil overs with all of the camber correction you could possibly ask for. However, axles still would break and my oil pan was replaced more than once!

You have to pay to play when it comes to extreme lowering. End of story.

With that being said, the Mini looks incredible when finished with an aggressive set of wheels and a proper drop.
