Hey guys, I am getting coilovers but I'm not entirely sure what ones to get, I want to go low low.. That's why it's a battle between vmaxx and ksport. I've done research but haven't gotten a straight answer. What goes lower?

 

K sports (and D2) are tied for the worst coilovers I've ever ridden on, by far.

Anyway, I've been probably 10-15 different brands of coilovers and these are just awful.

I've never been on Vmaxx but they can't be any worse.

 

i had Vmaxx on my e46 M3..

it was height adjustable only, dampening was pre-set, although they were working on a new design which allows for dampening adjustments

the ride felt good, like stock.. but the car did not feel planted to the ground.. it was too soft, and the suspension had tooo much vertical travel

definitely not track oriented, i can put money on it not ever being R&D'd at the track.. but if you want to go low and thats all you care about, they do a good job at that

 

Are you going to coil overs to drop car or are you looking for performance?
A lot of the cheap CO's do not offer any rebound or compression damping.
All they do is lower the car and give you a very poor suspension and ride.
Found this listing on Ebay for some used M7 coil overs.
These offer you full adjustabilty for your suspension.
