TSW + Koni sport

After installing the TSW springs and the Eibach 19mm sway bar I decided to replace the struts.
1st the TSW springs didn't do exactly what they stated they would do which was drop the front lower than the back
2nd the spring rate for the back is not that much stiffer than stock at lease not for the clubman.
3rd the stock struts are simply poop! Although the fronts are better than the rears.
I do feel that the springs and sway bar did make a huge difference in the ride but it still exhibits a bit of fluffy lack of control when traversing uneven pavement and hard cornering.

My hope with the Koni yellows is that I would gain a lot more stability in the corners.
I should have them soon and will let you guys know the outcome.

Good luck! I'm saving up some cash for that combination as well, it seems to be well recommended. I have the 19mm sway already, I would like to ditch the stock setup for Koni Yellows and TSW springs.

Wow. I just bought that combo too. It's sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. I'm waiting on some new rear brake rotors so I can do everything at once.

I received my rear Koni's in yesterday and installed them. The install is fairly typical except you need to drill a couple of parts from the original strut assembly. Make sure you have a good 12mm bit and maybe some cutting oil.
I set the struts 1.5 turns from the softest setting.

Now the driving experience...

HOLY CRAP! Why don't the put these struts in from the factory?? These things made the mini a slot car and I don't even have the fronts on yet! Ride is firm but not harsh. Even my Wife noticed the difference right away and liked it! I am sold on Koni's.
I'll let you know what the results are when I get the fronts installed.
I highly recommend these struts!
