Koni FSDs - How comfortable are they?

Hi,
I have a 2007 MCS and am having a rough time on the patched up/potholed roads here in NJ. I got rid of the runflats for a set of Continental DWS. I'm trying to gauge how much of real world improvement I would see if I installed Koni FSD's on ride comfort? I'm pretty sure I won't get to "floats like a Cadillac, stings like a beemer", but would my poor back get some respite?
I've been trying to read up on the FSD and their technical explanation seems to indicate that they would soak up the bigger potholes better than stock shocks. But, how about on patched up roadwork etc. Would that be low frequency that is sent up the body of the car, or would that be high frequency bumps that it would try to reduce as well?

Thanks
George

The little bumps are absorbed like they are not there, but a big pothole is still a big pothole.

I replaced a sport shock and the difference is night and day. My wife's mini still has runflats and I cringe when I drive with her.

Got the FSD's from recommendations here on NAM berore switching out runflats. Had to do it again I would not get the FSD'd until the stock shocks wore out. Very little is any noticable difference.

Then switched to the tires in my sig and what a world of difference.

I have driven a couple of cars with the FSD, both Gen 1 and Gen 2 and like them for their compliant street ride. I would not hesitate to get them as they make the Mini much more comfortable. Those jarring bumps seem to smooth out.

About a 50% improvement here. Car also seems to stick better when you hit a bump in a curve as well. So much so i was waiting for a hop on one of my normal roads but I don't get them anymore. We just finished a 1300 mile Dragon run on them and we both agree this was well worth it.
