Passenger side wheel moves when torqued

Greetings!

I just got back from my local discount tire to have my wheels re-balanced from a slight vibration (and wobble). The balancing has fixed the vibrations... then the technician said I should get the passengers side checked out, he said there is some movement when he torque the wheel down. (as in the wheel moved left and right in the wheel well.

Recently, I have been hearing a spring binding noise from my coilovers (megan reds) when I turn slowly from the passengers side. It comes and goes... I also hear a knocking noise from the same side (sometimes) when I hit light bumps.

Do you guys have any ideas? Tomorrow I will get under the car and check the axel / cv boot.

Thanks in advanced.

Sounds like a control arm bushing!

You should really check the front control arm bushings, these are the most common thing to wear out on the front suspension.
Then replace them with some powerflex control arm bushings, you'll never have to replace them again.

Probably not a fix for your wheel wobble but, go to Megan's website and find their "fix" for the noise when you hit bumps. Very easy fix by taking the front adjustment ***** off and tighten a 17mm nut that is around the shaft left sticking up. The other slight noise when turning the wheel maybe be what Megan calls "coilbind".. The coilover needs to be "lubed" in a few spots above and below the coil itself... May not fix yours but it did mine... and I now have roughly 40,000 on them..
