Is M7 closed for the winter?

Anyone know if M7 is closed for the holidays or out of business altogether?

I was looking into getting on of their upper strut braces but can not get in touch with anyone there; either by email or PM.

They have very large listing on ebay.
I don't think they are out of busniess.
Some companies do give a holiday break.

Vollgas, thanks for the tip. Had no idea they sold their goods on eBay. One of their listings actually answered my question about availability.

gRay rAvEn, call me cheap but I didn't want to call long distance from Canada. Since they largely do business by internet, I assumed I'd be able to get a reply through their site's "contact" page. Failing that, I tried a PM: that didn't work either. I've heard good things about their products and I'm a little surprised at the lack of service and not getting any response about a product availability question.

Don't sweat it too hard tlr1000, many US companies close the last week of the year to give employees a break so we can go to Canada and ski . I'm using some M7 parts and for the most part they're well engineered .

last time I was at my local ski hill (Whister) I met some really cool folks from Kansas.

Yeah, I'm not sweating it too much but I did start my initial contact attempts at the beginning of December.

I bought the C wing in all CF from their eBay auction the other day. I received an email from them yesterday on 12-28 letting me know that it would arrive in the middle of January.

after the 1st of the year, so shipping times may be extended"[/FONT]

Check their eBay site. The prices and shipping are much better than from their main web site:

I was looking at their Ebay listings and I noticed this Q & A. That may explain why they haven't got back to you.

M7 Strut Tower Brace (R53)
Dec 27, 2010
Q: Is this item out of stock? When will you have another batch? Thank you.
A: Hello, A new run of the STB R53 will be available in mid to late February. Please check back with us at this time and we apologize for the inconvenience. kind regards, M7 Customer Service

Thanks Greg_Dr

When Vollgas mentioned that they sold their products on eBay I did find the answer to my question (see post #4 above). However, I did ask them the question twice (once through PM and once through their site) and didn't get any response. If the answer was posted on their eBay Store, they could have simply responded with a link to their store's Q&A section. But absolutely zero response is a bit disappointing. Not a great first impression.

I know this thread is a bit old, but...

I bought two parts (separate orders) from them in December for my husband's birthday and Christmas. I had e-mailed them with a question in either late November or early December and never got a response. I can't say I am completely impressed with their customer service.

However, despite the lack of response I went ahead and placed the order. The first part I shipped quickly and arrived earlier than expected. With the second order, they e-mailed me a couple days after ordering it to let me know they were out of stock and had to have more made, it took an extra week to get that one... but still not a big deal as I had ordered a bit early. Things went fairly smoothly.

Love their strut tower brace btw!

There are several companies that carry M7 equipment.
Why don't you check out Way Motor Werks.
He carries a large stock of M7 parts.
Look around and shop smarter.

Romille, glad things worked out. That strut brace sure does look nice and that was my initial attraction. After trying to contact them on more than one occasion, I gave up. I figure if I'm making multiple attempts to seek clarification for the purpose of spending hard earned dollars I should get a response. I do realize there are other suppliers of their products but if there are warranty issues or questions the manufacturer is ultimately responsible for responding. My experience didnt give me a whole lot of confidence and hopefully you don't come across that issue.

With respect to the strut brace itself, I also like the Mason unit. Although it's not quite as pretty, it looks at least equally well designed.

I have been in contact with M7 customer service a few times via email since winning an eBay auction back in December. I am still waiting on my part to ship. I hope it ships soon.

Awesome! but went with the NM strut brace instead, currently rocking the NM intake so I figured that would work/look best. I ordered a BSH can from you guys a short while ago, planning on putting it in this weekend, thanks!
