Torque Settings - JCW Strut Brace

Does anyone have the correct torque settings for fitting the JCW strut brace?

Cheers

I have a question, I just installed a new JCW strut brace on my new 2010 Mini Cooper S at the torque listed and do not have threads protruding through the new nuts that came with the brace, is this normal, I'm used to seeing at least a thread through a lock nut. At least the brace is pretty and adjusts easily, but concerned with nut backing off unless I get some lock tight. Are you supposed to purchase new bolts as well that don't come with brace from the dealer?

According to that, you need to use new nuts.

Just saw this, and hope I'm not too late to help...

There's no threads showing once it's installed. Matter of fact, the top of the strut studs are actually slightly lower in the nut. Looking at the nut, there's actually an inside taper. At the end of the taper is the top of the stud. (Maybe 1/16"?)

New lock nuts came with the brace. It seems to be fine and dandy with no backing off so far. At least it looks good!
