I was just going to do them myself. I already have a simple spring compressor and they can't be that hard to install. My motto has always been, "if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself".

I noticed on the WMW site it said not to be used with any lowering springs. Why is that? Can we use any aftermarket springs on the FSDs?

^ i don't think that's what it's designed for. I'd look into Bilstein Sports or Bilstein HD over the FSD

That's OK. I'm more interested in handling and ride quality than lowering it.

gotcha

though i would say, the bilstein hds probably handle much better than the fsds, with very good ride quality - but not as soft as the fsds. can't have the best of both worlds, without custom valving that is.

good luck!

I don't know what model you need but TR has them for R53 at 591.00 last summer I got them for this price shipped from TR.
The ride changed about 50% better comfort with Continental DSW's a lot of the rattles were gone after that. Just getting rid of the run craps and getting FSD's make a TON of difference.

In my opinion the install you could do yourself with the correct tools and a good how to in about 4 hours or less. helix has a very good price for the NE folks, 6 hours @125.00 per H is an insult.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread, but I just had to double check that I remembered correctly and comment that the rices I am being quoted locally (in Memphis) are more than DOUBLE what you charge.

I suddenly wish I were in Philly.

If I could find someone to do it for $225, I'd have them do it. I'm being in quoted 4 hours and $500-$600 in SF. That seems outrageous. I'm going to try and do it myself, and I'm looking for a good how-to online.
