So the coils are on and spaced, but I hit pot hole last week and blew a tire, so I just sent the mini in 5 days early for service and had them fix the tire while they had it. I used 5mm spacers so hopefully it'll work with my 215s

Anyway, here's what i encountered after installing them:

When I rock the wheel from one side of neutral to the other (is going right them going back past straight to go left) there is a pretty loud hitting noise.

The ride is actually a lot stiffer. I expected it to be better, but in all honesty another thing to stiffen it up doesn't bother me. Shouldn't hit potholes anyway.

There is a slight squeaking noise from the driver side front coilover with going over small bumps. Larger ones and ones at speed don't seem to make the noise and it has no effect on handling at all. Any ideas?

the noises i'm guessing are installer error....check the top nuts on your front coilovers and make sure they're tight.

how low are you? do you have a pic of your car from the side?

Couple of points. My experience is KW's are just a tad stiff for "normal" roads on other cars I put them on ( Honda's). In those cases, they used standard 60mm springs so I was able to swap until I got the tires to just barely not hop over bumps in the corner. ( yo go faster with tires on the road). Very high quality parts.
I have seen two pictures of the Mini KW. One has a large diameter progressive front spring that I have heard hits some tire-wheel combination's depending on offset. The other picture I saw was a standard 60mm. It would provide much more clearance. One should call them and ask. Advantage of progressive is ride. Disadvantage is you can't play with spring rates.
