Powerflex Lube Frequency

So I'm about to finish the Powerflex control arm bushing install,on our 05 MCS and I'm looking at the little packet of lube and now I'm wondering how often these will need to be serviced in daily driver duty. It would be easier to put a zert
into it now that it's out, although I'm thinking it may be overkill.
What kind of servicing cycle should I expect?

I've got several customers that have had them for 2yrs plus and never had to regrease them. I wouldnt worry too much about it.

Powerflex lubrication

Thanks Way,

Thinking about more, It shouldn't be near as difficult to service now that everything has been seperated and anti-siezed. They use a lotta salt and sand up here! Hopefully I get a box-o-joints tommorow and I can button this back up.

Depedns on your mileage...I re-lubed mine once a year. I drove nearly 60,000 miles a year. The LCA still moved with ease, but much better when re-lubed.

You can remove the axles instead of the sub-frame to access the bushings; once the axles are removed, remove the front ball joint bolt, lower the LCA (might require a bit of work) and then slide the LCA out of the bushing. Much easier than removing the subframe.

Lube

Wow!
I thought I had a commute.
I figured that since everything has been freshened and anti-seized, things will be much less drastic and drama to gain access for service.

Does powerflex recommend lubing them or do people do it for extra protection.

They reccomend it. Powerflex ships ketchup packet sized lube with bushings that require it, and their instructions show where to use it.
