I know you had HRs before, but compared to stock springs would you say the m7s ride smoother? Im considering TSW springs on a new set of stock struts. I know they provide a good ride, but I think they don't lower the car enough to make a noticeable difference. I don't want a slammed look, but I've seen some pics of TSW's ride height that look almost stock.

At the same time I also added a new front sway, which should have stiffened everything up, which it did, but verall the car feels way smoother and faster handling than before

I would like like to get more info on this too. I've heard great things about improved handling with TSW springs, but H&R and other brands offer at least 1" drop.

What are the spring rates for the M7s and H&R?

The H&R will be a firmer ride. I have ridden in cars with both and the M7 is a pretty soft spring.

The TSWs have improved handling and ride quality because they don't drop the car more than an inch.

The weak link in the MCS suspension are the dampers not the springs.....Had you done both or just the dampers you would be a happier camper.

I like the way the car was suspended factory, but the TSW springs are a great addition. That and a rear swaybar have been significant upgrades along my mini modding road.

What specifically is bad with the stock dampers? Thanks.

the dampening is not meant for any more spring rate than stock, they aren't designed for less than stock amounts of shock stroke, the rebound is too fast for spring rates above stock. Thats the short story. Coming from someone who went from OEM to Koni sports

Just remember, when you lower a car (even slightly), you may need to buy Rear lower control arms, or you may see some odd tire wear (due to excessive rear camber). Just one thing to keep in mind when trying to figure out how much lowering a car will cost ya!!
