I didn't cut the bump stops...

Got NM springs, i've still got about two fingers of wheel gap all around (used to be four), and the ride is pretty stiff, not softer than stock like most say. Could this all be because i didn't cut the bump stops? I didn't want to be cutting factory components so if i went back to stock i'd need new bump stops.

Is it harsh and not low enough because i didn't cut them?

Yep -- The MINI has very limit suspension travel to begin with -- then you lower it 1.2" and there is not much left. My guess is you are constantly hitting the stops. Cut them, if you decide to go back to stock, you can buy a new set at the dealer, they do not cost that much.

On my H+Rs it didn't say to cut the bump stops. I was actually surprised about this. Should I cut them anyway?

Eibach said not to cut the bumpstops with their springs.
