Rear Sway Bar Diameter?

I've got a R56 MCS w/Sport pac. Anybody know what the diameter of the rear sway bar is? Just curious, as my dealer didn't know. That's par for them!

You could be curious about the purpose of the groove in the storage area in the driver's side door.

Some bright boy (don't recall who) figured out that it is for the antenna when you go to a car wash, or park in a vandal-prone neighborhood.

Of course, many of us have switched to stubbies...

Last time I parked on the street in Koreatown in LA my stubby antenna got stolen, so I can see the reason for having a slot for an antenna... But the stock antenna? That thing is do damn ugly would anyone really steal it? I think if this one gets stolen I'm just gonna plug up the hole and call it a day.

CD's fit fairly well in there, until the car starts moving.

There is no accounting for taste among Vandals, or Visigoths for that matter.

Might be a good place to keep one's swagger stick.

Just on a side note....After swaybar install...do you need to get the car re-aligned?

Generally, you do not need to realign after installing the rear sway bar.

Historical humor, always a laugh riot! But they could have done worse than just taking the antenna I guess (I suspect if I park in K-Town again, I'll find my car resting on CMU blocks instead of wheels or the emblems pried off with a crowbar). As John Julius Norwich said, 'they had behaved like brigands certainly, but not on this occasion like vandals.'
