For me, the NM's have the perfect amount of drop (not slammed) and still ride well.
Thanks to everyone for providing so much useful info and making this a good decision!
Looks fantastic! I'm loving the wheels too!

wondering....
with just the spring change, won't it get mismatches with the shocks?

Also with the NM Springs, will the OEM Sport shock be able to control the NM sping? I am hoping there will be enough rebound control.

I'd contend that the stock shocks aren't adequate for the stock springs. They seem woefully mismatched and underdamped. Lowering the car certainly won't help that situation.

Won't be a problem. Though you do have to cut the bump stops from the OEM shocks in half to compensate for the shorter spring.

But that still does not have any relation to the matching of the spring rate with the shock 'rate'? both need to match each other.

Someone mentioned that the OEM spring and shocks were already mismatched from factory, I do not know the factory rates but i do feel that a set of aftermarket lowered springs generally would have a higher spring rate then what it replaces, causing the oem shock to lose control over the spring.

a good example is the lack of rebound control where the car will still bounce along after a compression.

Recently lowered the car with the NM Springs and installed their 22mm RSB and Front Strut Tower Brace over the MLK weekend with the help of a group of my friends from the local DMC club. (Nice to have some expirienced help. Thanks everyone)

I can't say enough good things about this combination of parts.
1) The car rides nice and low and it STICKS on the corners now and that is with the bar on the lowest setting. I will be moving it up to the intermediate setting really soon!
2) Torque Steer...what Torque Steer? That seems to have been eliminated.
3) Did I say that it rides nice and low now and looks great!!

Pics coming...been waiting for the weather to clear up here so I can get her cleaned up for the after shots!!

OK. Here we go, before:

And Lower!!

We should get together and compare setups.. I'm in Chandler too. I recently went with the H&R touring cup kit. I'd love to check out your setup and have you drive mine as well.

Would like to do that. Have you been introduced to any of the members of the local DMC club. Maybe we could meet at one of our next events? PM Me.

NAMotorsports.com carries them. Ask for Nick, great guy and will help you out no problem at all.

That's where I got mine.

BTW, I been running these springs since the 2nd week of launch and they are still performing and handling like a champ.

I made a comment about having people in the car tends to make the wheels rub awhile back, however I currently changed my tires to a stronger, firmer tire and with 3 passengers there is no rub at all. Very happy with this product!

I'm picking up these springs as well as the rsb. I also have a set of koni yellows incoming. I can't wait to get everything assembled.

Has anyone already posted their results with this spring/strut setup?

with the NM Spring rate,
how does your shocks deal with it? any uncontrolled rebound (bouncing after bumps etc)?

and what shocks are you running?

Which way did you go? I'm guessing cup kit, because that's the only option for max lowering out of those 3 choices.

"NM Motorsport springs it is..."

i gave in to my wallet as a college student, but these shiiizy ape Downtown LA (all LA) roads are making my entire mini shake. suspension just doesnt feel strong enough unless in sport mode, enen then. im hoping as firm or close to stock as these may be, they will provide, at least, a false sense of strength over bumps and cornering etc

however, i messaged adamsaltamini to see what kind of "discount" i could get... well see i did just get a job
...releasing all my thoughts on the situation...
at 800 for the cup kit i would probably just go coilover,,, whats 1000? 1200 at that point

but at the end of the day
i dont even have sport suspension from factory, and im not willing to go with everything else that should go with a serious setup
im planning on attempting to install these myself, plus alignment for a total of ~$350 setup, and (almost) no gap

hoping to get a stronger car when i graduate and get the title from daddy

New pics..

100 miles is all it takes and I already have a coating of brake dust....cleaning these wheels should be fun..

Oh, and one other thing...My car's stock wheels are the A/S ContiProContacts, while these are Summer Dunlops...Is it just me, but do the Dunlops give you a softer ride compared to the Contriprocontacts? It sure feels that way...Am I crazy?

i drive down Alameda often. and i wouldn't recommend going lower than the NM if you are in that area a lot. There's a supergoat section that nearly took my mudflap off.

I have a stock non-sport suspension 2007 R56S. I want to buy the NM springs, but I am worried that it will make my tires wear uneven. I am right to be worried or should I not worry about it. Do I have to install end links?
