The H & R springs lower the car 40mm . If my math is correct, then that's just over 1.5" drop.

The KW springs will lower your MINI the most. Yes, more than the H&R's

The KW that Randy has on his suspension page are coilovers.

the KW's are defitely the least expensive! 175 @helix

ugly yellow though

anybody got a pic of this mod after installation?

furthermore, will 18x7.5 with minimal offset rims fit? tuck the wheels even?

i want performance, but this setup just doesnt sound feasible, is it?

No, this doesn't sound feasible without some modifications to the wheel wells.

Here's a question back at you. If you're looking for performance, why in the world would you want 18" rims?

Mr. Jackson, could you tell the court how many boys sleep in your bed each night?

What does Mr. Jackson have to do with "lowest springs"? Does he need a MINI golf cart to get around neverland?

I agree. Especially if using an 8" wide rim. You might try to call Alex@tirerack and see if it can be done without rubbing the wheel wells. Might fit if the right amount of offset is used with 35 series tires that are not too big in diameter.

Generally a lowest spring setup with 18" rims is not for best performance but for a slammed big wheel look-usually at the cost of a very harsh and noisy ride. The added weight of the 18" rims works against performance unless you want to spend alot of money on light 18" rims. From each rim size you can add about 2 to 3 pounds per rim as you gain one inch diameter.

The very best performance will come from a balanced suspension system and probably lightweight 11-12 pound 16" rims with grippy ultra performance tires and a limited slip differential to help keep traction to the front driving wheels. It's always good to keep the wheel weight down to a minimum but the appearance is not the same as a big wheel.

thanks for the input.

i gotsta show the 18s and race the 16s.

think Ive decided on the medium drop. H&R with their 40mm drop, and matchin sway bars to match.

rubber is at 215-35-18 and wheel offset is 42.

ill let you all know if it rubs.
