should be but why not just get a stud conversion kit makes wheel changes much easier and gets rid of the hubcentric rings!

Some aftermarket wheels may require so called "tuner-lugs" but otherwise you should be OK.

Hubcentric rings have nothing to do with lug bolts vs stud conversion. If your wheels do not have hub bore size for MINI (56.1mm) you still need hubcentric rings after stud conversion.

got new plastic hub centric rings from a company on ebay. just do a search. were only $12 shipped and came within 5 days.

i want to keep the bolts because i really don't mind taking an extra 5 minutes to line up the holes when i change my tires, i don't track the car. and i really don't like the way that the stud kits stick out so much.

on the subject of lug bolts/conversion kits (don't mean to threadjack sorry )

unless you get a conversion kit, is it necessary to get wheel-specific lugbolts everytime you get a different set of wheels?
and where can you get them?

i tried fitting these 4x100 wheels on my friend's mini, but the oem lugbolts weren't long enough to reach the axle..
