Rear sway bar 1/2 adjustments?

I was wondering if it's OK to have your rear sway adjusted unevenly so that you can get more adjustments. Instead of just soft, medium, hard, can you do medium on one side and hard on the other to get a in between adjustment?
Anyone know for sure?

yeah you can do that, but it will affect the car differently, not just like an 'in between adjustment' that you're thinkin of....you'd do that for the race track so you get your car handling best in the most common turns, because the sway bar will then affect the car differently by applying different loads to the corners of the car.

I wondered about that too. I can't see why the car would behave differently on one side than the other. That is assuming that there is no friction in the bushings, which is, of course, not the case. I would think that the friction would be negligable, though. I have to think somebody has actually tried this and can provide empirical proof, one way or the other.
