Hello all
Anyone know about the company call Maxi Tuner? They are having the spring bid on eBay. More of the information they have on eBay:

As you might have read in the August 2003 issue of Bimmer Magazine we are the North American Importer for the spectacular Maxi-Tuner Mini Cooper S.

Even though the Maxi-Tuner springs designed by Schmidt Technik lower the car and stiffen it, the car actually rides much more comfortably due to the springs not bottoming out on bumps like the stock OEM English springs do. Belive it or not, a good mechanic can install these without having to realign the suspension.

Win these springs and we will pay shipping to anywhere in the world

If you are interested in the full Maxi-Tuner conversion you would be interested to know that we actually drove the one that was featured in the article before the work was done and I can honestly say that the difference between the Maxi-Tuner car and a standard Mini Cooper S is greater than the difference between an M3 BMW and a 325 BMW; is greater than the difference between an M5 BMW and a 540 BMW; it is greater than the difference between a Porsche Boxster S and a Porsche Boxster; and almost equal to the difference between a Porsche Turbo and a Porsche Carrera.

The transformation is even more spectacular when you realize the total price is only $3,900 including all parts and labor. This includes the modifications to the supercharger, exhaust, suspension, and floor mats. But you need to contact us soon. Due to the drop in the Dollar relative to the Euro since the article was written last December on the 1st of August the package price will be going up to $4,600 so act now.

You never have to realign the MINI (or most BMW's for that matter) after installing new springs. The cars are designed with limited suspension adjustability, and swapping shocks and springs yield no problematic changes (ignoring the obvious camber change, esp. in the MINI's rear, and isn't necessarily a bad thing)
