HELP Needed

anyone installed the koni yellow part number "8641-1432SPORT " on their R56?
I am looking for a write up. I finnish installing it, but for some reason the front sits one inch taller than factory.
fyi, this is the strut insert cartridge .

Just to be sure, you have driven around the block to settle the suspension, right? The suspension always sits higher after taking it off 'stands because the bushings and tires [and e-brake] are bound up.

i did take it for a short drive (less than 5 minute)
one thing I believe it might be is since I am putting the insert on the R56, the older shock(R53) might be shorter than mine, so after putting the insert into my stock shock housing, and mounting on the spring(off car), compare to my old one, i was already noticing a inch difference. this is my second time changing it on my car(i was putting in the sport suspension 2 week ago)...

The R53 Koni Yellow's were direct replacements. They didn't have inserts like you're describing. It sounds like what you have is not a stock replacement, more like either the wrong part number or the rally-cross model. Perhaps a call to your vendor or Koni tomorrow to straighten out the issue is in order.
