According to RealOEM.com, it's the same mount used for all engine variants on the R56 Mini. That includes the Diesel and one too.

My first impressions after driving 5 miles: less engine movement when accelerating/shifting gears and especially when I'm in 1st gear, better shifter feeling when goin up thru the gears, and there is slightly more vibration when at a stop idling.

I think I'm going order this monday. How bad is the vibration compared to stock? and would you do it all over again?

I mean there's definitely more vibration than the soft stock rubber, but it's not that bad and it goes away as soon as you get moving, and that sort of stuff doesn't really bother me, I'm all about performance.....would definitely do it over again

Cheap, easy, minimal vibration (barely noticeable and I pay close attention to all my vehicles) good results.

In summary, GOOD MOD!

ok... im kinda annoyed right now... so apparently there are 2 types of engine mounts, problem is, it is not specific to the model year. My MINI with a build date of 10/07 has the round engine mount but when i ordered, i chose the 07 mount because well, its an 07 MINI. Now im stuck with the wrong engine mount.

so now i gotta ship the wrong ones back, at my expense... Word of warning for the rest of you guys, make sure you look at your bushing before you order... the triangle ones are the "07" and the round ones are the "08" DO NOT assume that an 07 MINI will have an "07" mount.

I also have a Aug 07 R56 and noticed that one of my inserts keeps coming off. I'm sure I ordered the right ones but one side is having some trouble sitting in the mount. Has anyone else had this happen?

based on the pictures ive seen of the mount... i dont think the wrong one will fit in the mount. It looks like the design is quite different.

Yes you are right...I know I got the right one its just mine has somewhat of an issue of not fitting right. I may just have to trim it in some areas to make it stay in place.

So i won't be able to get them installed until december 11th. The guy that is doing it owns a tire shop and he is swamped with snow tire orders.

So, I got the bushings installed today. Wow I love it, no real noticable vibration if any. Sport mode is crazier than before. Next mod..the cat-back installation, have to wait til the day after xmas though for installation.
