control arms

Hey all, I'm looking at getting a set of control arms to dial in some of the rear camber I got after dropping my Mini on KW V1s. Right now I am looking at the Megan racing set. Does anyone have these? Any recommendations?

thanks

They should all pretty much do the same thing so go for any brand you like! I went with the h-sports because their blue finish matches my laser blue mini quite nicely

Yes, they all do the same thing... I want to know personal experiences and what people think of the quality of certain brands. I assume the price differences exist for a reason.

Over time if they have heim joints you will get play in them. I'm looking to change mine out soon after developing play for the 2nd time. Not really a fault with the product but a fault in application ; I am running a type that should be used on a track only application for my daily driver. 95% street / 5% track. 3-3500mi / month
Also you will pick up a bit more interior noise but that is a small sacrifice for being able to improve handling and tire wear.

Another RCA to look at would be the SPC or the IE. Either one of them seems to be reviewed well.

Megan RCAs

I have the Megans for several thousand miles and have not had any problems with noise. They do match well with my hyper blue exterior (...if you can see them under the rear of the car)

just got the new helix control arms. they are now powdercoated black. the joints have rubber covers over the joints. should be "maintenence free." they are light weight to boot. overall, they resemble the alta's but have the covers. not sure eric would agree with this simple description though.

Which ones are you running, Tim?
I'm happy with the H-sports so far except I'm a little paranoid that they'll get loose; I put gobs of loctite on the turnbuckles...
You've also got about 200,000 miles on your car, right?
