Lowering & HIDs

The ALTA web sit has the following note:

'If purchasing 2 sets of control arms, and if your MINI has HID/Xenon headlights, modifications to headlight leveling system is needed. Please call for further details.'
Has anyone done those mods ? what is involved ? Does it apply when using one set of control arms ?

I'm not sure what their solution is for adding a bracket to the upper control arm for the rear headlight leveling sensor, but if you're only installing the lower control arms, the sensor would be unaffected, nothing to worry about.

Ahhhh, now understand. I didn't know the levelling sensor was back there.

Thanks n1tr0/ScottinBend.
