After fitting the Koni coilovers I went to have a four wheel alignment done but the guy who carries it out said he can't do it as the car is too low for the gauges to be fitted to the wheels. Can I do a manual alignment myself? If so, what would I need?

i'm sure you've considered it, but just in case - have you the OEM wheel tire package still? would that afford sufficient clearance perhaps?

i guess while i am being Captain Obvious here, I also suppose you've called round to one or two other shops?

 

OEM wheels won't fit due to BBK and I'm gonna ring round others to see if they can help.

 

Think I've found a garage that will be able to carry out the alignment - maybe should have rung around before posting this thread

How about raising it just enough to get the machine on and then lower it after....

 

lowering it after will mess up the alignment..
