I originaly got the Vorshlags from Outmotoring but they seemed to be different than the TSW ones? Steve from CMS has put many TSW plates on and he said they were different. My M7 coilovers are not compatible at all with the Vorshlags. So we went with the Hotchkis, they have the upper and lower bearings too. Plus IMHO they are easier to adj. As they fit the hole perfectly.
Can you comment further on this?
How do you think they would work with Koni struts and OEM sport springs? TSW's earlier comments seem to say that you shouldn't use them with that shock, spring combo.
Well, ... I've worked with many different camber plates and by far these were the best "quality" and the best "thought out" Mini camber plates I've seen.
I can't comment of fitment to factory style barrel springs and shocks as I have not done so.
The guys at TSW know what they are talking about over there so I'd just contact them and see what they say. They have a lot more experience with different setups then I I'm sure.
I do believe that we got these plates from TSW along with the KW coilovers. I think they may have had to do some 'matching' in their shop.
I now run Ireland race plates in my racecar and if I can I will switch to these instead.

Another thing we noticed on the Vorshlags was that inner shoulder, were the strut seats up inside the plate, was cone shaped and the OEM strut shoulder is flat. Making it not the optimum seating surface. Remember I said OEM strut, not sure about other coilovers and struts.
The original plates was a partnership between Vorshlag and TSW, and until very recently TSW still highly recommended them. The two companies had a 'falling' out and thats why TSW doesnt carry them currently.
TSW is VERY very close to finishing their all new camber/caster plates. Last i heard, they were out to bidding for mass production. Call them, and speak directly to the horse itself though.
IMO The Vorshlag plates are extremely nice plates too. Was very impressed with the build quality and fitment.
JIMINNI: can you post a photo if you can of your Vorshlag plates?

I had to send the Vorshlags back as they were not compatible with my M7 coilovers. I went with the Hotchkis plates.

Yep those are the ones. If you look closely at your first picture, the one showing both plates, the plate on the left, the upside down one. The seat up inside is conical shaped, you can see it on the pic. The OEM strut has a flat surface that mates with that surface, not optimum. Now most people that use camber plates are not useing OEM struts so there is no problem then, as long has whatever you are using seats up good.
No alignment has been done yet, but these seem set for max negative camber. I agree...the adjustment bolts are not assessible with a standard allen wrench at the current setting. One of my pictures shows an allen wrench in one adjustment bolt...and how I can't currently reach the other bolts. I'm no expert, but it looks like there is an alternative hole to move one adjustment bolt over for easier access. We'll see after the alignment next week.
I have seen this same adjustment issue with similar camber plates (Cross, Megan, etc.).
Thanks.
Apparently Vorshlag sells this tool to try and help the issue:

The people I know that use them end up cutting the hole bigger. That is one reason I really like my hotchkis plates. But the hotchkis plates will not work with struts that go all the way thru the camber plate.
