Hi.

I'm just wondering if anyone with coilovers could chime in as to what wheels and tyres they run with their coilovers, and what brand of coilovers they are. You can state more than one wheel/tyre combo if you have them.

especially interested in anyone that runs stock rims with coilovers.

I have AST Coilovers from TSW and I run 'stock' offset, ET45 wheels. I need a 5mm spacer in the front for clearance between the tire and coilover spring. With stock struts or Koni Yellows, the spacer wasn't needed.
The wheel and tire combos are:
17X7 et45 & 215/40/17 (street) or 215/45/17 (track).
This is on the R53

 

Cross with R91 Bullets = ok.

I've found that 7.5 ET45 is a bit snug, both on the Cross and the PSS9's. Choose tire widths carefully.

 

I have this combo too, but from what i read, the offset on stock MINI wheels is ET48.

I have 5mm spacers, and i can't go lower than 15mm front. Waiting for OZ Ultraleggeras (ET37)

 

PSS9's/Exel TZ-10 wheels/18x7.5/ET42/5mm spacers up front to clear Stoptech BBK/Nanking 215-35-18 tires
