Suspension Best Sway Bar... for me (used to be in an S2K)
I've been happy with my H-Sport competition bar with an otherwise stock suspension on both the street and track. I haven't moved up from the softest setting yet, but since it sounds like it needs some greasing, I'll be trying it out this weekend. Lift-throttle oversteer with it is predictable and controllable, on this setting at least. I can't comment on its characteristics with camber plates.
Yeah, I decided to go ahead and order the H-Sport 19mm bar, H-Sport Camber plates, and TSW Springs. I think I'll order the bar and plates next week. Drive around with the just the bar for a few weeks to feel its changes. Sometime in those few weeks I'll order the springs, then I'll do the plates and springs at the same time. And drive it around like that. If I decide a 19mm with plates is not enough for me, then I'll move up to the 25.5 hollow. But I figure that it'll be better to start small.
I think that all of this makes me think of the Webb bar...It's like doing an alignment based on the track that your going to and then being able to get it tweaked exactly how you like it...without changing camber and toe. Adjustable camber plates, adjustable rear control arms...Why not an adjustable bar without just being a 2 holer. And it comes with the endlinks for at least a corner balancing in the rear.

I have a H-Sport 19mm bar and lower control arms, Camber plates, and TSW Springs. Goodyear F1 G3's for street, 615's for the track or auto x.
Front set at 2.0, back at 1.5.
I had an Alta 22 and found on the track it was too much, it was hard to come into a corner hot with out the back wanting to come around. BTW I like oversteer, but overall under hard braking and trail braking it was a little too much.
It (22) was better at the Auto X, but I still like the 19 better. It is easier to drive smoother. I have not been at an Auto X with the 19 yet this year, but based on the other MINI's that run 19's, I feel it will be fine.
One bonus, the ride is better too as the rear suspension is softer. It is not near as firm when I hit a bump.

^ yep, you have the setup that I will have eventually. I do like Autox, but I am also big in tracks. Thats another reason I decided to go with the 19, especially since I like to brake late
Chad, I thought about the web bar. But honestly I don't think I need the much adjustment. 3 holes in the H-sport will be enough for me. If one day I feel like I want that, then I will. But the price/benefit ratio is not quite there for me at this moment.

I hear ya there...since I can do all of my alignments myself, the more adjustment the better. My Eibach bar only has two holes in it and I wouldn't mind having a little stiffer rear bar, since I put on the front stiffer sway bar as well. Also, just to see what is too stiff. Then to be able to switch to real stiff on AutoX versus not so much so on the tracks. I am still learning about all of the suspension dynamics though. Working on, replacing parts and understanding the concepts of all of the components are 3 totally different things. Sometimes the only way to learn is to do it and see for yourself. But that is why you started this thread and said to give your opinion based on your personal experience

Opinions are always welcome
Even after I've decided, haha. I mean, yes I am getting the 19, but someone searching this thread in a year might read the opinions and decide that a 22 would suit him/her better. Once I finally do get the bar, I'll write my opinions on it as well.
I do a lot of the work myself as well (just not alignments)...and I understand a lot of the "concepts" all relating to suspension. But many times the theory vs. what actually works, can be quite different
