Bad rear control arm?

I have some clunking going on in the rear. I have replaced end links and made sure they are tight. Nothing else is loose. But I have noticed that one of the lower control arms moves just a tiny bit up towards the top bushing. Could this be my clunking noise?

I'm kinda doubting it's the problem. Of course the first thing that always comes to my head is the rear hatch. This used to drive me nuts until I finally figured out how to fix it. (Don't ask, I forgot)
Always hard to diagnose clunks, even when hearing them first hand.

It looks like youve got the mini mania rear control arm which is just like the Ireland engineering one. They use the same design and end links. The end links they use are a dry end link. What you are hearing is your end links making all that racket. Ive got the same issue. It never really bothered me though, but i can see how it bothers some. hehe

No I have a Mini Mania Sway Bar not their end Links. I used to have Alta End Links and went back to stock at this time.
The rear Hatch is not what is knocking. I have checked it out. It is something under the car on the drivers rear. The only thing I can find even close to being loose is that lower control arm.

Check that everything is tight.

Rear sway bar attachment points.
The rear subframe
Rear swaybar endlinks (two points for each)
Rear shocks
Rear lower and upper control arms

I checked all the bolts and links, the only thing that I can find that has alittle
play in it is the drivers side lower control arm. Thats why I asked if that could be the problem

I have the same Clunking/rattle coming from the Rear, it drives me crazy... every time I go over little bump, clunkling clunk clunk... so far I've only found myAlta End Links to be bit loose. I should go over the list Minihune gave,
Good luck on finding your noise problem.

I have a clunking sound in the front right. I am going to have to say, check your bushings, one of mine doesnt look right, so I will replace, and find out.... A worn bushing could cause the metal to metal clunking sound. Now does it do it all the time, or just on bumps?

I replaced lower control arms and knocking is gone. I guess it was the bushing.
