I had the yellows on my R53. When you take off the old shocks, note the length from the top of the shock to the top of the spring perch. We didn't do that first, it was a hell of a time figureing it out. Other that that, it's all pretty simple. Unbolt the shock from the control arm, then from the top.

Yeah, I'm very curious where you purchased them. Any leads?

i got them from out motoring and installing them wasn't difficult once i knew what i had to do. basically you need the rear metal bushings and the stock front spring perches. to get the perches all you have to do is gently hammer them out from the stock struts. the come out easily so don't over do it. after that install was like any regular strut install. i highly recommend them especially is you already have lowering springs and are looking for a stiffer set up. if you have any questions PM me.

Getting ready to install yellows as well; not sure I follow why this is important?

i didnt do that on my install. what you will need is to take the strut perches off the konis and swap them fot the stock ones. so that you get a nice fit with the springs. hope this helps.
