EBC Slotted Rotors

So I measured my current rotor thickness...right around a half inch (~12mm); time for new rotors I think...

Looking for a slight upgrade over stock rotors and I've covered the whole slotted vs. drilled vs. stock...like to go with slotted or a BBK. Lack of funds leaves me with the former.

On that note, anyone used the EBC rotors? Their brake pads are decent (I run Hawk HPS's myself), but anyone know about their rotor quality?

Nice thing is that cost is only slightly removed from stock rotor cost.

Oh. and I'm an overeager idiot. Would a moderator please move this to the appropriate forum please?

Well considering neither of you answered my question, are TSW's rotors similiar in price to EBC's? They are not currently listed (other than their BBK) on their website.

I dont understand why no1 has the powerslotted rotors by ATE. I myself have been running them for over 5 years over 3 diffrent cars and love them. Helix and TireRack has them. They work great against heat and are cheap as HELL. I got my front and rear pair for 220 bux picked up from a local store. Try these before you spend more money on other rotors.

Sorry about that - we ran out of stock, and we're waiting for the new shipment to come in. Scott should know the prices, though.

Ours run $199 for a full set (front and rear)... They're on a boat headed our way now and should arrive before the end of the month.

EBC's rotors were destroyed by their Green stuff pads on my car. I won't have EBC again at least, not for the street. I switched to Brembo rotors (smooth) with Mintex pads. I'm happy with them so far, but if I had it to do over again, I'd have done TSW's Porterfield setup. The upside of the Mintex/Brembo setup is they are wearing REALLY well. But the Brembos rust. If that will bother you have them painted.

My next set will be TSW or getting something from TCE. We'll see what's available by then and what my situation is (BBK bucks?? I hope.)

Does anyone have experience with these EBC's on the track? After cracking another brand's slotted rotors after a few trackdays I'm looking into other options...
Thanks,
Jason
