18X7.5 and 42 offset. Want a good drop but what springs?

Ok,

I have literally searched every suspension thread for the past few days and really haven't found what I was looking for.

I have 18's and I am looking for a good drop. Right now, I am only interested in springs, so no coilover suggestions please.

I did buy some TSW's, but they are really not the drop I was looking for.

I like the drop that the M7's give, but i am a bit worried about rubbing, and would prefer linear rates from what I have been reading unless the suspensin guru's out there woudl convince me otherwise.

Does anyone have 18's riding with a ~1.3" drop from springs only? Rubbing issues? pics of the drop?

I appreciate any help.

Thank you,
John

I run 18x7.5 with a 42mm off set, tires are 215/35/18's. I'm on M7 springs. Here's one pic. Sorry for the graininess of the shot. I have no rubbing what so ever. I use Alta lower control arms to straighten up the rears. Before the M7's, I used H-sport springs. The difference in drop is very little.

The difference between the H-Sports and m7' isn't much but it is noticeable.

I had H-Sports with my 18s and no rubbing. Could easily lower another inch with the proper camber settings. I'd go with the m7's.

Thanks for the pictures and info. I like the M7's but was worried about rubbing with the 18's. I guess I don't need to worry about that.

Now, gotta go buy some new springs.

Thanks again,
John
