Suspension Squeak..

I have just removed my 18" JCW Alloys and put on a set of OEM 15" Pepperpot alloys (7 hole) with 175/65 tyres.. The car is dropped about an inch on KW Variant 1 Coilovers... I seem to be getting a squeaking/hitting sound which appears to be coming from the front drivers side now when turning etc when i have a passenger in the car or even worse with 2 passengers. The sound seems to come and go and it not apparent when im the only one in the car.. Wondered if it was something to do with the extra weight of carrying passengers. I have checked all clearance/rubbing issues and it appears fine given the smaller wheel and narrower tyre. I did not get the sound when i had the 18"s on with the 205/40 tyre.

Does anybody have any idea what this could possibly be or encountered similar issues???

HELP HELP!!!!

following on from my first post, i am starting to get a sort of scraping/grinding noise from the drivers side when turning the wheels inward when out driving. I also seem to be getting a clattering aswell sometimes. Could it be the Bushes??

My KW Variant Coilovers are only 10 months old with about 20,000 km on them. Could the coilover on the drivers side be shot?? There appears to be no rubbing anywhere given the 15" OEM alloys and i'm only lowered about 1".

I had the car in at the dealership a few weeks ago about the orginal noise but they could find nothing apart from slight movement in the passnger side ball joint but this problem seems to be coming from the drivers side only on turning the wheel inward.

Has anybody any suggestions what this could be??? as i am worried something is going to break as it does not sound good. I felt the dealership was not really interested given the fact i had fitted aftermarket suspension on to my 2005 Cooper

I was wondering if it could be power sterring related??? or does some of my suspension parts MAYBE just need greased or something??

I am beginning to wonder if it could be that my brake pads are shot... hence the metal grinding sound.. I have done about 38,000 km on my stock pads..

Could this be the problem or anyone had anything similar???

the sound my car made when my rear pads were shot was a hollow grinding sort of noise, but only when i applied the brakes (or sometimes not, as they were sticking). It also was more noticeable when the windows were all up..
