I am pretty sure that any camber plate will raise the car up to some degree. Now, noise on the other hand varies from person to person. Some say that H-Sports are quiet and some say that they are noisy. I do know that many like the H-Sports and the Helix's seem to be bomb proof.

my advice, FWIW, is to plan all of your suspension upgrades before bolting on the first part. are you going to be adding coilovers? some come w/ integrated camber plates (CROSS and BC Racing come to mind). what is the intended use for your car? make sure that whatever camber plate you choose will work w/ future planned mods if you cannot do them all at once. for the record, i have rdr/helix camber plates and Spax coilovers. i am happy w/ this combo. i don't even bother to change damper settings between street and track. my daily drive isn't very far and i don't mind the relatively rough ride. on the track, my car handles sweet. it is just waiting for my driving ability to catch up.
I have the new Hotchkiss (H-Sport) adjustable plates and love them.
With a bit of persuasion of the DS strut tower I reached -2.2 on both sides (loaded) on stock shocks and TSW springs. I'm quite happy with the turn-in of the car and still working at reaching my limits at AX before I take the next step to coilovers.
The Hotchkiss plates do not increase ride height, unlike the Helix and no noticeable noise.

I sell alot of the Hsport Camber plates. They work great, and are easy to adjust and I haven't had problems with them seizing up. I even use them on the Race car, so I've abused them a bit and they still ask for more.

I found my new H-sports raised the front end up about 1/4". I now have coilovers to correct that. No noises like many other camber plates I have owned over the years, on many different cars.
nothing wrong with that question, we were all new to this stuff at some point.
Anyway, the camber plates "translate" noise due to the nature of the metal on metal ball joints where the strut bolts in. Different style joints can give a "rattle" over bumps as well. You also have to contend with the spring on metal perch when you advance to coilovers. OEM suspension set ups have a TON of sound absorbing rubber within the set up to keep things much more quiet, on the spring perches, within the upper joint/bushing, etc.
I wanted to stick OEM size top spring so I could re-use the rubber upper perch pad. I pulled it off the OEM upper perch and added it to the H-sport upper perch that was made to fit OEM size springs. Not sure if that did much, but overall, my suspension set up is very quite considering I have coilovers and camber plates. I also have SPC rear control arms, they are far more quiet than IE or Megans, which I have tried in the past. I am attributing that to the style of the bushings.

I've had the Helix plates on my car for a long time. They're great!
They do raise the ride height in the front by around 1/4". I've never had anyone come up to me and ask "What's up with the ride height on the front of your car?" I've been to tons of MINI events, british car shows where my car was on the show field, autocrosses, track events, etc, etc. Nobody notices it.
I guess some people really couldn't stand knowing that something raised their ride height. But, for me, it's not a big deal.

I never even noticed the 1/4" rise. That was probably due to changing my M7 springs out for TSW springs at the same time as the H_sport adj. camber plate installation. In any case I'm happy with the look, the handling and the ride.
Webb Motorsport Camber Plates
Anyone out there with WebbMotorsport camber plates?
I'm lookking to buy a set of used ones.
They look pretty thick; do they raise the front much?
Any advice or feedback like...
I own them and would buy them again?
Are they noisy or quiet?
Any drilling required?
Easy to index for changing on track day.
Thanks

Thanks for the info... sounds like I sound move on to look at some of the other plates reviewed in this thread.
I am daily driver looking to improve on autox course.

I had the WMS camber plates for about 9 months. They DEFINITELY raise the front height noticably and they ride harsher than the H-sport camber plates I have now. I ran my Bilstein PSS9's on maximum drop in the front and there was still significant wheel gap. They are NOT easy to adjust unless you cut up the tower area. I would not buy them for a street vehicle. If this is a dedicated track car, then they are great.
I'm selling mine for $200 since I went with coilovers which have integrated camber plates (cross).
They cost new about $550 and are rock solid.
You will NOT get mushroomed strut towers with the Webb Camber Plates.

i have webb plates, like everyone said, they are BEEFY!!! but difficult to adjust, like SteveS though i have made a wrench for the job and it makes it easier
that said, i have had the car setup now for a few months... never had any problems

if they are in good shape, no. The PU inserts are known to be finicky, but IE is good about replacing them. Given the price, it's one of the tradeoffs. Also...the stack height is same as stock, unlike the h-sports
I have the CROSS coilovers with the integrated camber plates, and I've never heard so much as a peep from them.
