Suspension Suggestions for Track/Street Pads?
Suggestions for Track/Street Pads?
Hello All!
I only have 1500 miles on my S and am already contemplating replacing the brake pads. It's been awhile since I owned a BMW product with stock brakes and forgot how horrible the dust is. So here's my dillema:
Which pads are recommended for the following criteria?
1. Reasonably low dust
2. Fairly quiet - the odd squeal now and then won't bother me
3. Stock R56 brakes, calipers, and performance runflats - until they wear out
4. I will be swapping out the fluid to ATE Super Blue when I do the pads
5. 90% Insanely spirited, stop-and-go city driving
6. 10% Track day use - I hope!
I am also willing to give up some initial bite to get into a better compound with less fade. Let me know what you think
