Suspension Eibach springs - 3 cm
Eibach springs - 3 cm
Hi guys,
I'd like to lower my R50 Cooper. I thought going for Eibach springs (being one of the best on the market) rather than for JCW which only offer - 1.5 cm for the same money (+/- € 300.00).
When lowering your Mini with new springs what exactly needs to be done except changing the springs of course? Does the global set-up, brakes, suspension need to be tweaked some how?
Will such new springs fit stock shock absobers? Last but not least, minus 3 cm, isn't it too much? Going down for 1.5 cm doesn't seems much that's why I'm considering Eibach springs rather than JCW ones.
Thanks.

The Eibach Springs are great, and don't lower the car too much although as you say they do lower the car more than the JCW. You can fit the springs to the stock Sports Suspension struts. A wheel alignment would probably be in order after fitment of springs. I had Eibachs before my Coilovers and i would highly recommend them
