M7 Anniversary Edition STB

Man...I'm seriously thinking about this, even though I have a practically brand new one in the matte black. Looks cool though. I wonder if M7 has a picture of it installed so we can see what it looks like in an engine bay.

I am not sure. I think he is trying to say that "function over form" saying is not applicable here. I could be wrong. bling bling bling

Palo Uber has a reputation of putting things out that are alot of "bling bling" in lieu of performance. This is really not applicable here, in that it is still M7's very nice designed STB, they just added some bling to it.

Let me explain this the way I did in another related thread. It is strictly a BLING finish and actually not even our own idea. One of our customers had one done on his own and showed it to us at AMVIV last year . Some of you sober ones may remember seeing it . Many people asked us if we could do our own version of it but as it had cost this guy just under $500 to have it done to his brace we thought the total price for the piece would put it out of the realm of possibility as a viable product. Recently we found a firm that could do the same process at a much cheaper rate so we basically added the cost of the finish to the cost of the STB and there you have it . Its not for everyone to be sure that is why we only did a limited run of them .

Yours discolored? I have had mine for about a year now, perhaps longer, and don't have any problems with it.

I would buy one of these if I didn't already have one and if I didn't just purchase another one for the other MINI.

you also don't have a hoodliner That's the issue...the hoodliner is always in contact. I even took mine off and painted it satin black, letting it dry in the sun for a day. One day after, white discoloration again....it's not the M7 bar itself, but the fact it's designed to mash into the hoodliner. Yes, I did the soak and smash. A bunch.

If anyone get's the new M7 STB and want
s to sell their old and plain M7 STB let me know. The anniversary bar does look sweet but I can't justify spending $350, plus my wife would kill me.!

You should have them put the same finish on the DDM box. Why stop at BLING when you can have BLING BLING!

Seriously, it's a gorgeous finish.

Mine has never even touched my hood-liner.
