Suspension Suspension travel
"not enough"
The stock dampers only have a stroke of about 4". The suspension probably settles at least an inch under the weight of the car, and bump stop is about an inch and a half long. That leaves maybe 2" of compression before the bump stop is really kickin'.
Some of the guys have taken apart their suspension and thought about this a lot more than I have, you might get a more accurate number than that - but I think 2" is a pretty good ballpark number.

...and to clarifiy...the stock bumpstop is an active part of the suspension. These do not work soley to keep things from banging into one another.
Roger - you moved in? I lost your number AGAIN!
