M7 spring

I have a local dealer who sells M7 spring.

However,
there seems to be no one using M7 spring....

why??

i thought they are progressive rate spring and supposed to be better?!?!

Why does everyone seem to use either Eibach or H-sport

There are lots of people using M7 springs. You need to read the tons of threads regarding M7 springs. It does seem that H-sport springs are used by more people then the other brands. I've just switched from H-sport springs to M7's and the verdict is still out. I ran the H-sports for about two years and I liked them (performance wise) very much. The M7 springs seem to feel about the same as the H-sports but the M7's lower the car just a tad more. I do feel like there is "something" different but I can't put my finger on it. I need to get out in the twisty's a bit more before I decide to keep them. I truly liked the H-sports but wanted to be a bit lower. After trying this spring experiment, I think I will start saving up for coilovers and get what I should have gotten in the first place to truly achieve what I want to do with the performance and look I'm after.

Just a note...the lower you go, the more adjustment you will need in your suspension.

Do you all just avoid speed bumps or can you manage over them?

Yes lower control arms...but the lower you go you may also need upper contol arms and adjustable camber plates for the front end, etc.... The lower you go, the more it effects all the settings in your suspension. There is a good article in issue 6 of MC2 magazine on suspension basics that I think explains things pretty well for us novices. Might be worth a read.
PS: Don't get me wrong, I,m not saying there is anything wrong with M7 springs. Everything that I've heard about them has been positive.
