balance

So, I was wondering about this the other day. Which car between the cooper and the cooper s is better balanced through the corners? is there enough weight diference/distribution to matter?

I would almost agree to write that the difference between runflats on the S and non-run flats on the Cooper will make a bigger difference...and steering feel is not a run-flat strength.

there really shouldnt be too big of a difference. I mean an s has the supercharger up front, while a cooper has a battery. Not sure how much the SC weighs tho, the batter is like 35lbs. And a cooper doesnt have the bat in the back, and if you didnt take your spare out, they are probably balanced about the same. I would also venture to guess that getting a light weight battery and removing the back seat, although would throw your balance out, you would gain more from the lack of weight than that you would loose from "worse" balance.
