A golden opportunity

I have searched high and low for an independent shop specializing in Mini's in Orange County without success. Nothing on the Internet or in the Yellow Pages. One mechanic told me that the extended warranty has made Mini's and Minimal market. Not for long, with Mini's coming off warranty.

I have not been impressed with Irvine BMW for my prior BMW work, so I was hoping that someone can recommend an honest good mechanic who is comfortable with Mini's. Any suggestions?

Thanks much!
Ted

You will hear a lot of mixed reviews about Irvine MINI. Personally, I'd go for one of the indy shops if your warranty is up.

Any thoughts?

Have you found a good shop? I am actually across the freeway in Laguna Hills?

Here's a list of the area shops. There are a couple in O.C. or very near O.C. and some other ones up in L.A.

I can personally vouch for Bullet Motorsports...
Chris Welch is the owner & a very good guy.

Right now I take my '04 MCS to Crevier & an VERY happy
with my service there. They have been more than fair with
me as I have a Mini that was in an accident & they've taken
care of everything. VERY HONEST, VERY FAIR.

CREV ROCKS!!

Just my $.02 worth!!

Crevier is great for warranty stuff, anything they are way over priced. I have used bullet for my Bimmer.

You bring up a great point, there are not any really great mini shops in OC. If you are doing something specialized like suspension there are some great shops in Laguna Hills. I have driven all the way out to Steves on different occasions to get stuff done. he is great but far away.
