Ortega a mess
Ortega is a mess due to construction is there any other canyons in south OC that are fun to drive ?

None that I know of. I have heard that the construction on Ortega is at night only - is that true?

Last week,mid week I was stopped for over 30 min. one lane was closed 8 in the morning.

Around LA you could drive a different canyon every day for a year without duplicating,must be nice for Mini owners.

Ortega
I drove Ortega Hwy on Friday (5/18/07) and yes, the construction happens during the day too. I was stopped but only for about 3 mins.
