windows leak...

is it normal for the window to leak when you wash your car. the entire inside of the glass has water running down them and it get frustrating. doesnt leak in the rain and i dont wash with a stream from the hose, just let the water pour out.

The only time I had it happen....It was caused by "the nut behind the wheel" Ummm, that would be me! Crawled in, rasied them to their "full upright and locked positions", closed the door tight 'n viola, no problems here. Gave me a good opportunity to really clean the door panels and pockets.

if your just washing with the open end of a garden hose and just leting water run over your window and they are leakign it does seem a little excessive. if your still under warranty make an appointment with the dealer and they could take a look at it. however there is only so much adjustment possible with the glass on the mini so they may not be able to get it totally leak free

This may help. If your window is not ALL the way up, the jump the window does when you open and close the door will not happen, so there will be a slight gap. It will look closed but isn't. Also the windows can get out of sync somehow, and the jump won't happen. To reset, roll the window all the way down and hold the toggle down for about 5 seconds, this will reset them.
